This system is designed so that if a child wearing the unit wanders beyond a preset range of 20, 50, 70, or 100 feet, an alarm will sound on the unit worn by the parent. If the child happens to fall into a pool, the unit is designed to automatically activate itself - alerting the parent that there is immediate trouble.
