For sale is one new, open-stock*:  Shimano FC-R550 2x10 Speed 50/39 130-BCD 5-Arm Double Crankset for Hollowtech II Bottom Brackets.  Bottom bracket is not included. 

*Condition Note:  New, open-stock; without box but in original poly bags; never installed.  Minor handling wear from storage, including a small nick in the non-driver arm which may well be a manufacturing irregularity.  Very attractive overall and very suitable replacement and new builds.


This crankset is suitable for Shimano Hollowtech II 24mm bottom brackets.  The FC-R550 are durable, high-quality cranksets that were found on entry and sport-level builds such as the 2009 Allez and Allez Sport.  A solid option where strength is desired and weight is a low priority.

Notes

Only recommended for Shimano Hollowtech II bottom brackets.  Due to variance in manufacturer tolerances, other 24mm systems may be too tight or loose, and installation may cause damage or premature wear to parts.

When installing pedals, remember to grease, install by hand, and finish with a pedal wrench or hex key.  If you're replacing cranks with damaged pedal taps, cross-threading and insufficient tightening is the most common cause.

Includes cranks and chainrings only.  Bottom bracket is not included.
