These ducks open along their feathers to reveal storage space for your special trinkets. In enamel bright colors. These are handmade products with each one unique and its imperfections are a reflection of its handmade process. Made in China. These Cloisonne ducks are handmade from a small village in the Beijing Area. Cloisonne also called Jingtailan in Chinese, is a traditional handicraft in Beijing. It has a history of more than 500 years and was mainly produced for royal family. The process of making Cloisonne is rather elaborate and involves several steps such as base hammering, copper wire curving, soldering, enamel filling, enamel burning, polishing, and gilding which might take 4 to 8 weeks to finish the beautiful art works.
