Tualang Honey is a wild, pure honey
from the Malaysian rainforest. It is harvested from honey bee combs hung from

is monofloral honey produced by giant bees, (Apis dorsata).
The bees build hives on trees locally called
Gelam, or Melaleuca cajuputi Powell.
Gelam is in the same
family as the Australian tea tree, and it is renowned for its medicinal
properties.
Our Gelam honey is
carefully harvested fresh in the shrubby vegetation of the coastal area in the
east coast of Malaysia only for a limited time before Apis Dorsata further
migrates to another exotic wild area.
TASTE: "Bitter Sweet" The
Gelam Honey has a bitter sweet taste. The combination of sweetness and
bitterness makes the honey flavor special and pleasant. It is an
absolute delight to be taken on its own or as an accompaniment in various

Kelulut Wild
Bee Honey
Our Terengganu Wild Kelulut Honey is a
multifloral honey produced by small stingless bees called Kelulut, (Trigona).
The bees are biologically different from any common honey bee.
Trigona make pots from a mix of beeswax and plant resins, and store their
Kelulut Honey in these cells (unlike other bees which make hexagonal cells of
only beeswax).
Trigona have populated for over 65 million years in tropical forests with
exotic plants and flowers renowned for their medicinal properties.
TASTE: "Sweet & Sour" Kelulut Stingless Bee
Honey has a distinctive “bush” taste – a mix of sweet and sour with a hint of
fruit – which varies at different times of year depending on the plants
visited. The essence comes from plant resins which the bees use to build
their hives and honey pots. It reminds us of Sour Patch Kids Sweet and
Sour Candy!
