Charles Schneider

A wonderful pair of French art deco wall sconces made around 1930. The solid brass mounts hold beautiful shades in clear frosted molded-pressed glass made by Charles Schneider. The shades are signed Schneider France 406. This nice and searched after model is known under the name of "corniche aux libellules" (slip shade the Dragonflies).

The sconces are 36 cm high (14,2") 15,3 cm (6,02") wide and 15,7 cm (6,18") deep. They are in very good condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated the mounts. The fixtures are rewired with American candelabra base sockets. Suitable for the USA Canada Brasil and Japan. For European countries I will place E14 ones.
