You don't often come across these old 1950's -60's TV shows in tact. Usually they are syndication prints and are edited. Offered here is the original aired version of FOUR STAR PLAYHOUSE starring David Niven, Hugh Beaumont, Tommy Rettig and Frances Rafferty.
In this drama, Niven encounters an orphan with no identity. Since Niven's character was also an orphan, he decides to adopt the boy. Niven's wife (Raffery) is vehemently against the adoption especially when she herself becomes pregnant.
America's father Hugh Beaumont plays a Catholic Father who runs the orphanage that the boy is currently at.
