Standing “tugubele” figure, of androgynous form with narrow faceted hairdo, shell shape eyes, and long angular zoomorphic face. Torso with small pointed breasts, hands resting on wide hips and conical phallus between wide-set legs. Dark brown and red-brown patina with areas of crusty deposts especially on head. “Tugubele” figures are used by Senufo diviners to contact nature spirits. Custom base.
