The adapter won't work with microphones that have the larger Grosstuchel Connector with the "blade shaped" pins installed (MD421-2, MD441-2 etc).

The Adapter Cable is intended to work with unpowered Microphones and also is the correct adapter choice for Microphones with T-Power/Tonaderspeisung* (* see further text. You will need a P48 to T12 Power Converter for for the operation with T-Powered Microphones).

The following microphones do need 12V T-Power/Tonaderspeisung and must not work directly with 48V Phantom Power. T-Powered mics do need a 12V supply voltage instead of the common 48V Phantom Power. Solution: In conjunction with the 48V to 12V T-Power Converter,12V T-Powered Mics will work perfectly together with todays 48V Phantom Power PreAmps / Mixer
