Introduced by Gabrielle Chanel to guarantee the quality and durability of leather bags, diamond quilting has become one of Chanel's signatures. On this rounded crossbody bag, circa 1989-1991, the traditional black leather is replaced with soft satin, showcasing the model's signature leather and chain-link shoulder strap and the iconic interlocking CC stitch. Its most distinctive feature is the large, black tassle with gold embellishment.

The bag has a zip closure on top and one zippered pocket inside. The bag's serial number, located inside the interior pocket, is 19977599.

The outside of the bag is in near-flawless condition, with no visible signs of wear. The only flaws inside the bag are several, small lipstick marks (see photos).

This bag was purchased at the downtown Dallas Neiman Marcus store by the seller and rarely used.
