This plane has been fully restored and tuned, every piece of hardware was removed and polished to a mirror finish. The plane and all hardware have been oiled to inhibit rust, and the iron has been sharpened on a 1200 grit diamond plate. The sole of the plane and its sides have been lapped flat. It retains most of its patina. The rear tote and front knob are in superb condition and have been lightly cleaned and oiled.

We believe this is a Type 7—a fine specimen of a tool that is right around 120 years old. Ready for the next owner.
