The seeds and fiber are slow to develop. Retains excellent flavor and texture when frozen. A good source of calcium, folic acid and potassium. Performs well when soil is cool. Heavy production. Can be grown in containers. Sow in spring after last frost if the weather is cold and wet wait for warmer weather. They can not tolerate frost. Super easy to grow.
