This is a wonderful, very rare apron pattern from the Ladies'Home Journal.
It makes a charming fudge apron and dates to circa 1916. The pattern even still includes the original bird-shaped embroidery transfers, which is almost unheard of from this ear.

The original description reads, "LADIES' AND MISSES' FUDGE APRON to slip on over the head, with round or V-neck and with or without the pockets and ruffle. Apron cut in one size only. Pattern contains transfers for bluebirds in five sizes."
The apron may also be sewn with contrasting waistbands and pockets and may be done without the embroidered bluebirds.

Size: One size fits (most).

Condition: Good with just gentle wear and tear from age and light use. The pattern and a bit of the transfer have been carefully used. The pattern pieces have been neatly labeled by the original owner in pencil.

Complete: Yes.
