Acers are fantastically bushy trees with an elegant design that are great for creating structure in the garden. They come in a variety of colours, which also change colour through the seasons - with some looking their most vivid in the autumn months. They are deciduous and lose their leaves over winter but soon come into bud during early spring. They are slow growing, ideal for planting in containers or the ground, they can tolerate higher or lower sunlight and are also very hardy. All of which makes them ideal for most gardens.
