Photograph Notes: The church of SS Peter and Paul > ://.uk/photo/1848233 was built on the site of an older Norman church, signs of which can still be discerned on the west wall of the tower and the outline of the original Norman roof can be seen above the tower arch at the west end of the nave. The baptismal font > ://.uk/photo/1849002 dates from the 15th century, the cover > ://.uk/photo/1849005 - dating from 1620 - is one of only three of this particular style that have survived in Norfolk. The nave contains a number of 15th century benches > ://.uk/photo/1848978 with carved bench ends > ://.uk/photo/1848981 and both screen and choir stalls incorporate fragments of original woodwork. The pulpit > ://.uk/photo/1848987 is Jacobean.
