This sale is for an art tile "After the Fair" by Mexican/Indian artist Amado Pena. In muted colors it depicts a man and woman carrying a black ceramic pot (photo 2) with a pueblo behind them in the upper left corner (photo 3). The background color is cream (the light when taking photos made each photo seem to be a different color) with a black inside border. The finish glaze has a smooth texture and shiny gloss. The back has a hanger and an attached paper explaining the tile and a short bio of the artist (photo 5).
The tile is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. It lies flat (photo 4) with no warping. There is a slight light mark in the black border at the lower right (photo 6). It is not a chip but appears to be a small void in the black paint because it is underneath the shiny gloss finish. The tile measures 7.75 " x 7.5".
