Vintage rendition of “Praying Hands” by German Renaissance artist and printmaker Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528). Plaque features bronze-colored raised relief metal praying hands mounted on wood. There is a small metal hanger attached to the back of the plaque. “Made in West Germany” is engraved or stamped into the wood on the back of the plaque near the hanger. Plaque measures approximately 6 7/16” x 8” and the praying hands measure approximately 4 7/16” x 5 1/2”. The age of the plaque is unknown, but since it was made in West Germany, it was probably made before 1990. Estate sale find.

The metal praying hands appear to be in good to very good used condition with signs of wear and age, such as scratches, scrapes, nicks, abrasions, indentations, discoloration, and some dust in the crevices. The wood plaque appears to be in very good used condition with signs of wear, such as scratches, scrapes, nicks, abrasions, indentations, and wear on the corners and edges.
