Contains the lyrics to 26 Fugs Songs along with an introductory "Notes on the The Fugs" by Ed Sanders.  Rear sheet detached from upper staple, some surface wear.  Adds a facsimile of the Artists' Workshop Press list of publications available.  All editions of the Fug's Song Book are uncommon. 

Ed Sander's writes, " The Fugs are an emanation or hallucination of the culture of the Lower East Side.  They write all of their own songs, puking them out of a personal history that includes the transistor radio, lots of grass, group gropes, 1000's of hours of poetry, reading it, writing it, & listening; peace freaking, Chuck Berry concerts in heaven & scholarship in various esoteric fields of knowledge."
