- One owner and used during a class. Been in storage many years.
- Red covered "20th Century Touch Typewriting" by Southwestern Publishing Co. is copyrighted 1927.
- Beige covered "Rational Typewriting Revised Edition" by The Gregg Publishing Company is copyrighted 1917.
- Red book is roughly 10.75 inches by 8.5 inches by 0.5 inch.
- Beige book is roughly 11 inches by 8.5 inches by 0.5 inch.
- Red book has been used more, and has a looser spine. Nothing is compromised, just loosened and more flexible.
- Red book also has an address and name on front cover, as well as some pencil doodling inside back cover. Doodling can be erased.
- Red book has a few more dark stains throughout book and covers. Everything is still legible, but some occasional spot staining.
- Red book also has some spots and staining on front and back covers.
- Beige book in good shape for age.

- Comes from a non-smoking house with pets.
