Up for your consideration is a brand new 1996 NCAA Basketball National Championship watch. The University of Kentucky Wildcats won the NCAA title this year. This watch would have been issued to team players and staff only. I do not know if these were given to all tournament teams, only those in the Final Four, or only those in the championship game.

Regardless, this is very rare piece of memorabilia, especially in this condition. Typically, these watches are worn and it’s extremely uncommon to find them packaged in their presentation box. The watch comes complete in the box with the original instruction manual. I am not the original owner, but this watch has not been handled at all. I don’t see a single fingerprint, smudge, or scratch on the watch front or the watch back. The leather wrist strap has no signs of wear. The black case has a soft touch black leather feel and is in excellent condition. The watch has not been tested in order to preserve the condition, but it is assumed to be in working order and simply needs a battery replacement in order to function once again.
