The Hummingbird™ Studio Tenor Ukulele (tuned GCEA) is Epiphone 's first tenor ukulele in over half a century. It features a classic square shoulder acoustic guitar body style. It has white and black binding on the top, body and fretboard. The turtle-style pickguard features an early '60s Hummingbird graphic design. The top is solid Sitka spruce, which will become even richer with age and playtime. The body and neck are made of mahogany with a SlimTaper™ C profile. The neck is 17" scale with 19 frets and a granadillo fingerboard. The reverse belly bridge is also made of granadillo. The Hummingbird Studio Tenor Ukulele is factory tuned in standard GCEA tuning with a high G. The traditional Epiphone Sloped Dovewing headstock features both the Epiphone and classic Crown inlays in mother of pearl. The Hummingbird Studio Tenor Ukulele can be connected to any PA or amplifier thanks to the Piezo Film pickup under the saddle. The ¼" output jack is edge mounted. The Hummingbird Studio Tenor Ukulele features premium open-back tuners with a 14:1 twist ratio. Perfect for travel - a gig bag is included.
