Roger Sadowsky has set himself the task of further improving an already very successful bass design by making a number of detailed improvements. Together with the electronics he developed, he managed to raise the well-known J-Bass sound to a new level, so that today one can speak of a typical Sadowsky tone: never harsh, with deep, defined, never dull basses , present but not obtrusive mids as well as sweet and airy highs. All the characteristics of this modern bass sound can also be found in the 21-Fret Vintage J/J basses of the MetroExpress series. All basses have a weight of approx. 3.8 kg and are therefore also interesting for bassists who are looking for a lightweight solution for the stage in addition to a modern bass sound.
This version of the Sadowsky Vintage J/J Basses in a high-gloss Black Pearl finish has a maple fretboard and is equipped with a tortoise pickguard in this color combination.
