The base and lid are in good shape.  They were originally blue, and have been painted,  This is for the emission control requirements, as it has 2 input ports, instead of none or one.   Both ports are secure and not loose.  

This air cleaner body was off a 1965 1966 or 1967 Mustang and other Ford cars.

The snorkel is was not chemically cleaned as that would destroy the spring  inside.  

As this is 50+ years old, there will be some scratches, tiny dents, etc. somewhere on it, but it is not rusted.  

I have an air cleaner with no additional ports (no PCV or smog) in another listing.
