SIZING

The tag labels this a size 14, but vintage sizes tend to run smaller than modern sizes, so this may be closer to a modern size 12.   The actual measurements are as follows: 

Bust: 22.5 inches across, underarm to underarm (45 inches around) 
Shoulders: 16 inches across, seam to seam
Waist (elastic): 14-17 inches across (28-34 inches around. This is what I'd call the 'comfortable stretch range' of the elastic.  The waist stretches to 19.5 inches across at absolute max)
Hips: Full and roomy
Length: 47 inches   

Note: These are the actual measurements of the garment, so please leave yourself room for comfort of movement. All measurements were taken with the item laying flat. The flat measurements were doubled to give an approximate measurement around.  

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

This is a lovely vintage secretary dress from the 1980s made in the USA by Lady Carol.  The material is a lightweight, non-stretch polyester that has a floral design done in dark pink and black, and there are tiny little polka dots between the flowers.  The dress has three quarter length sleeves with button cuffs, and it has an elastic waist with a full pleated skirt.  The dress closes with a single button at the back of the neck.

CONDITION

This dress is in excellent vintage condition.

Shipping:

I go to the post office every week day, Monday - Friday.  I typically ship items out one business day after I've received payment, so if I receive payment on Friday, your item will go in the mail Monday (although if I receive payment early enough, I might get it in the mail the same day). If you need an item to be shipped right away, just let me know and I will do my best to get it out to you as soon as possible! 

PLEASE NOTE: I will ship your item to the address listed on the payment, so please make sure that your address is up-to-date!  

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I am happy to ship internationally, but please note that as the buyer, you are responsible for any taxes or duties your customs office might charge on packages coming from the USA.  

Clothing Condition:

The large majority of the items in my store are vintage and/or pre-owned.  I will list any major flaws in the item description.  However, most vintage clothing has been around for several decades or more, and it may have some minor snags in the fabric, the occasional loose thread or other minimal signs of wear.  Vintage items may also have raw seams that have not been serged.  By purchasing, you are accepting that these items are used and may not be 100% perfect. However, if you feel I have overlooked a major flaw, please let me know!
