This listing is for 100 seeds of the Lord Howe Pohutukawa, Latin name Metrosideros nervulosa due to the finely nerved appearance of its leaves. This has not been germination tested but be aware that Metrosideros as a genus tends to grow very slowly for the first few years when grown from seed.
These have red flowers and dark green leaves. In the same genus as the New Zealand Pohutukawa (M.excelsa) but different shaped leaves and the trees form more of a bush than a tree. Looks nice growing in a rockery or would even make a great hedge.
These are native to Lord Howe Island which is off the coast of Australia but has very similar flora to New Zealand.
