Lovely long elasticated waist skirt by Wallis. The skirt is bias cut in a 1930’s inspired design with a fluted hem. The 100% viscose fabric has a crinkle effect which disguises a few tiny plucks in the fabric. I’ve tried to capture this in the last photographs. Also, there’s a black mark near the hem at the back. I’ve tried to surface wash it off gently. The skirt is machine washable at 40 degrees but I can’t wash it as it still has the tags on. It looks like pen so it may come out. The skirt is very long so it could be taken up which would get rid of it but it’s not really that noticeable except on close inspection. I’ve had it in my wardrobe for quite a few years but never wore it. Time to move it on.
