Watering:  Provide regular water and keep soil moist when starting hollyhocks.  Once well established, they are fairly drought tolerant.

How to Plant:  Sow hollyhock seeds outdoors when the last frost has passed.  Sow seeds thinly and cover with 1/4" of soil.  Seedlings emerge in 12-21 days.  Thin seedlings about 12" apart.  Blooms the following summer.
