RARE 1901-1933 ROSENTHAL Porcelain CHRYSANTHEME CACILIE Pink Roses ASHTRAY.

Very RARE piece of antique porcelain by RC Bavaria, Rosenthal, in Cacilie. Bottom stamped with crossed swords and Cacilie written in gold as well as the numbers 4 & 823. An extremely early example of some stunning hand painted mauve and pink roses with gold detail. This ashtray is a Rare find because not many of these porcelain pieces were made. Mostly dinnerware pieces were sold, so very few ashtrays were made or even survived over 100 years!

Listed as the Chrysantheme series due to the floral decoration, this piece is in EXCELLENT condition with no chips or cracks. There is some light wear to the gold border and it looks like there used to be an additional fleur de lis gold border which has mostly worn off. Definitely a gorgeous piece to add to your collection! I have never seen one like this offered or sold before online.
