Vintage Silver Napkin Letter Holder Marked Irvin Ware Made in the USA 🇺🇸

This vintage letter holder is in good preowned condition. The only condition flaw would be minimal surfaces scratching. This piece measures approximately 3” tall, 5 5/8” long and 7/8” wide. I’m I love with the intricate design. It’s very pretty. Perfect accent piece for your office or kitchen.

The Irvin Ware Company was an American manufacturer of metal kitchenware and household products. The company was founded in Los Angeles, California, in 1929 by Milton Irvin, who started out producing aluminum pots and pans on a small scale. Over time, the company expanded its product line to include a wide variety of metal kitchenware, tableware, and other household items.

Irvin Ware became known for producing high-quality, durable products at a reasonable price point. The company’s products were sold in retail stores across the United States and were particularly popular in the mid-20th century. Some of Irvin Ware’s most popular products included aluminum coffee pots, pressure cookers, pie plates, and baking tins.

Irvin Ware was an early adopter of the use of aluminum in manufacturing kitchenware, which was a more cost-effective and lightweight alternative to traditional cast iron. However, the company faced several challenges in the 1960s and 1970s due to changing consumer preferences and increased competition from foreign manufacturers.

The Irvin Ware Company ceased production in the early 1980s after a decline in sales, but its legacy lives on through its vintage products, which are still sought after by collectors and enthusiasts of mid-century American industrial design. 🇺🇸
