WW2 Bletchley Park Identity Card
(A Theatrical Mock-up) 

A couple of years ago, I was asked to re-create a Bletchley Park Identity Card for a TV production company for an up and coming TV program/series.  They supplied several copies of what they believed to be authentic Bletchley Park I.D.'s, but sadly they were all were fakes or previously used 'theatrical' mock ups, of what they thought to be the real Identity Card and so useless for the task of recreating an authentic I.D. Card. 

During my own research I found several fragments of torn up Identity Cards that were all somehow associated with Bletchley Park, but sadly no full Identity Cards?  During this research, I didn't even find 2 bits that were even vaginally similar to the others bits I had found. 

So, unlike all my other reproductions of WW2 items, where I find at least 3 (or more) items of the same item to work from, my 'Theatrical' version of the Bletchley Park Identity card is based on the 'bits' I have found and I have filled in the missing pieces from the other WW2 'British Armed Services' Identity Cards I know of, and so I hope it to be a closer facsimile of the possible originals as it can be.  

Sadly, like is often with these things, the TV program never got made, so now the time is up for them to have this ID card exclusively and so I can now offer my version of the I.D. Card to you.  

Whatever it's likeness is to the real Identity Card, it is just a bit of fun for the historical reenactor to use, and considering the time I spent researching it (and recreating it), it is worthy of offering it to those that would like to reenact any of the important roles those very special people at Bletchley Park played during WW2, when a complete original Bletchley Park I.D. Card is not available to copy.

Each card is hand finished and comes with full instructions on how to complete the card. 

These items are not cheap photocopies. As with all my reproduction documents; they are digitally re-mastered copies, or in this case a digitally created theatrical document. 

If they have a registration or issue number, this number will be altered on each item sold so they are unique to you, ideal for re-enactment, stage, TV or Film use. 

Unlike others available. These are printed on Card/Paper as close to the originals as I have been able to find and made to the same size of the original documents.
