Designed by Fairchild and manufactured by Folmer Graflex Corporation, Rochester, New York, United States, 1940-1945. Comes with original fitted case. Also known as the Fairchild K20. Handwritten on the case is "Hancock", with the previous owner indicating that this refers to the WW2 US aircraft carrier USS Hancock. The Fairchild K20 was an aerial photography camera used during World War Two. Many bomber planes carried these cameras, as it enabled pilots to take low altitude images, such as of potential enemy missile launch sites or targets. Scarce Piece!
