1920's - 1930's Cobalt Blue Fish Design Beaded Reticule Handbag / Purse.

American beaded Reticule purse. These bags were very popular in the late 19th century and early 20th century and are still very sought after for their beauty. Due to the age of this item, there are a few partial rows of beads that are missing from this bag and a couple other areas needing repair (see photos). The black netting shows age. The bag has a drawstring style opening with two black drawstrings. The inner lining is also black. The beaded pattern appears to be a fish or floral design with the main color being a royal blue with accompanying colors of red, greens, purple, black, brown; fuschia and dark shade of pink.

The beat measures 6 and 1/2 inches wide by 8 1/2 inches tall. Sold as is. Antique or almost antique.
