Use
1. Always use the correct size collet. If the collet is badly worn, it will not provide sufficient clamping force and will cause vibration or twist off the toolholder and fly out.
2. When the tool is clamped and uneven contact marks or grooves are found on the shank, this indicates slippage and deformation of the collet bore, in which case the collet should be replaced immediately to avoid accidents.
3. After the tool is clamped, if jumping is found when working, the work should be stopped immediately and the tool shank should be clamped several times to make full contact between the tool shank and the collet before working.
4. The toolholder should be in good contact with the collet and the toolholder must be fully inserted into the collet and tightened so as to provide sufficient clamping force on the tool.
5. Use suitable eye and ear protection during operation.
6. Bodies, clothing and other debris must not be near the working tools.
Tool maintenance
1. Keep the tool clean, remove resin, wood chips and other dirt from the wood after use and use standard industrial solvents to clean the tool.
2. Apply a small amount of machine oil to prevent the surface of the tool from rusting, clean all stains on the handle of the tool to prevent slippage during use.
3. Do not resharpen or change the shape of the tool without permission, as every sharpening process requires professional sharpening equipment and professional sharpening skills, otherwise the edge may easily break and cause an accident.
