This is a Fun twist on the traditional Mexican Doll / Lupita or Muñeca.  This Devil / Demon Lucha Libre Baby Wrestler has the word "Traicionero" treacherous written on his back. This fun guy is made of papier mache, and is all handmade and hand painted.  His arms and legs are articulated and can move.  There is a long tradition in Mexico of these Folk Dolls made of papier mache (see photo #5), this Wrestler baby is a modern example of this art form.  I also have some other papier mache Dolls including, Devil Babies, Jaguar Babies, a Devil Girl baby and a Punk Girl Doll.   This whimsical piece was made by Annie Blue of Mexico City.  He would make a great gift for the Doll Collector or for the Lucha Libre fan in your life...   I have several other pieces by this artist including masks, Munecas and ornaments and will list them in the next few days... take a look at my Ebay Store to see the others...
