CONCORD C2 CHRONOGRAPH

ABOUT THE WATCH

Retail Price: US$7,600
Selling Price: US$1,650 (about 80% discount) including EMS Expedited International Shipping.

I am the first/original owner of this watch, which I bought brand new from a dealer.

This Concord C2 Chronograph has a really cool dual tone theme throughout, silver and black. That makes it super legible and wearable for all occasions. It has a distinctive black rubber strap.

It features a Swiss-Made chronograph movement, and yet the watch is only 12.75mm thin. It also has a rather unusual spinning wheel as its running second hand.

ABOUT THAT SPINNING WHEEL: it does not spin smoothly as you might expect. It stutters a little bit. I thought this was a defect, so I sent it back to Concord, but they confirmed that the watch is "running as expected".

I included a video of the running seconds, and the timegrapher result of this watch, to assure YOU the next buyer, what you are getting. As you can see, despite the 'stutter', the watch is running perfectly fine (within COSC in fact). I am always 100% transparent and I don't want to disappoint the next buyer. So YOU decide if this is OK or not.

Taking this spinning wheel debacle into account: I am selling this watch at a huge loss :(

Established in 1908 in Bienne, Switzerland, Concord is renowned for luxury, innovation, and the quest for slim timepieces. Its greatest achievement to date must surely be the ground-breaking Delirium IV wristwatch. Measuring just less than 1mm thick when it was unveiled in 1980, it was the world's thinnest watch.

ABOUT ME / REASON FOR SELLING

I am an avid watch collector, always compulsively buying watches. As a result, nearly all of the watches I bought end up in a display case (this particular example being one of them). I have decided to offload the majority of my collection to raise some cash.

All my watches for sale are 100% guaranteed authentic. I use a Swiss-made Lepsi timegrapher to ensure the watch's movement is within the manufacturer's specifications before listing it for sale on eBay.
