This is an exceptional piece of history and an exceptional collectible. This is a Postcard of one of the most important figures in 20th century American social history, Frederick Douglass.

This is a Postcard from Rotograph which used the rotograph technology of, essentially sheets rapid fed to a negative. That is to say this is a Postcard from the negative. Frederick Douglass sat for the very photo printed here. Imagine how few of these are still left!

Card is unused and fairly clean and so SGC graded it a 3 VG. Needless to say this is the only copy on their population charts.

This is one I want to keep, but I'm hoping this card finds the right home.
