The books cover is green pictorial cloth boards with gold gilt title writing and decorations. The cover has some light surface shelf ware, very minor rubbing to the corners. Red cloth spine with gold gilt title label. Small nick to spine edge. Otherwise the spine and cover are in good condition. The hinges, inner boards and endpapers are in good order.  With tissue guarded frontispiece. The book is very nicely illustrated throughout ( see pictures). With gold gilt finish to the page block. There are 224 text pages. Other than a few having a small thumb mark the pages are in good condition. The binding is tight and square.
