Artists of the Osogbo school (named for a town in southwestern Nigeria) have been influenced by traditional Yoruba mythology and culture. This piece demonstrates influences of the best known Osogbo school artists including Prince Twins Seven-Seven, Yinka Adeyemi, and the late Asiru Olatunde and Rufus Ogundele.
