Beautifully made East German porcelain figurine of a standing pheasant. Hand painted and glazed.

No chips or cracks noted no crazing seen in very good condition.

Could be attributed to Porzellanfabrik Carl Scheidig founded in 1906 in Grafenthal, East Germany. After 1917 it fell under USSR state control.
Although other companies in the same region of Germany such as Voigt Brothers (Sitzendorfer) and P Donath used the same type of mark. (China Chat, Peter (admin))
