LOUIS VUITTON
Original Authentic LV Noé Blue Marine Bag
This LV bag has been authenticated to be an original Vintage LV from 1970 by the authorised Italian company “Pragma Arte Milano”, as shown in the authenticity certificate
The Noé bucket bag was originally designed in 1932. A Champagne producer asked Gaston-Louis Vuitton to develop a sturdy, stylish bag in which he could transport five bottles of bubbly. Made in the iconic Louis Vuitton Epi leather and features a drawstring leather closure. The leather shoulder strap adjusts for comfortable shoulder wear.
This bag is crafted using the iconic and hardwearing Epi Leather. The process of making epi leather is very specific, firstly it’s tanned with plant extracts and then deep-dyed. After this process, a special colouration on the surface of the grain is applied, which creates its distinctive coloured two tone effect.
A key characteristic of Epi leather is its durability and ability to withstand any weather condition (making it the perfect companion for the rainy UK climate!)
This bag is in good vintage condition, with some signs of wear. Please view all photos before buying. The main signs of wear can be seen on the base corners. This bag was made in 1980 circa

Many of Louis Vuitton’s innovations were made in response to Very Fancy Problems, and the Noé is chief among them.
The world’s first bucket bag was designed to carry five bottles of Champagne: four with their bases down, and then a fifth inverted in the middle.
The biggest Noé in LV’s current lineup can still carry that load.
Epi leather Louis Vuitton Petit Noe with brass hardware, single adjustable shoulder strap, tonal leather trim, embossed logo at exterior side, blue suede lining and drawstring closure at top.
