Size 5.5” x 6” x 7.75” tall has some imperfections, one Curly hair locks peak is chipped, along with bow on dress and other minor imperfections that are all pictured.

Porzellanmanufaktur Conta & Böhme Pößneck, c. 1900, unmarked, naturalistic moulding in bisque porcelain, painted in pastel shades and partially decorated with gold, sitting infant in a modelled lace-trimmed shirt with bow trim, open-closed mouth with row of teeth on top and strongly modelled curly short hairstyle, holding a pear in her hand and looking dreamily towards the sky with her intaglio eyes.



Conta & Boehme exported large quantities to the British Isles, the United States and many other countries. The company was established in 1790 and operated until 1937. The production of fairings however ended at the outbreak of the First World War in 1914.
