Based on the numbers on the back, I'm guessing this was made around the 1960's. It probably would have been sold as an "antique brass" finish, although it is brass plated and not solid brass. This one is extra used, with lots of pitting and stains and scratches from being scrubbed. It would probably be better as an interesting shelf to hold a decorative item rather than for it's original use.

Once installed, it comes out 4.75" from the wall. The piece attached to the wall is 3 1/8" wide, the toothbrush shelf is 4 5/8" x 3 1/2", and the cup/glass space is 2 1/2" wide. It comes in three parts, and will be taken apart for shipping. You will need to provide the screw to attach the wall bracket. The toothbrush shelf sits in the holder using gravity and is unattached. The weight is 12.7 oz. Using an extra small box, I will be able to get the package under 16 oz for first class.
