Some pages appear more yellow in some of the photos, this is due to the camera and lighting. The actual color of the pages is similar to the introduction by the editor of Life magazine and the first 0hoto of cartoons ("Let's Go!").
Frances Edwina Dumm (1893 – April 28, 1990) was a writer-artist who drew the comic strip Caps Stubbs and Tippie for nearly five decades; she is also notable as America's first full-time female editorial cartoonist. She used her middle name for the signature on her comic strip, signed simply Edwina. Sinbad was often featured in Life magazine, first appearing in 1928.
