This is a rare set (rarity score 5 out of 6) from 1961; released in 1961 in North America only!
The bricks in this set are all made of cellulose acetate and have the PIP on the bottom side of the bricks.
A characteristic of these bricks is that they tend to warp and loose their sticking 'together ability'. 
This set is complete and comes with the old school 'instruction leaflet. Officially, there should be 126 pieces in this set. To verify all that, I build all the possible models that are described on the box and added some extra pieces just in case.

The box has some damage due to duct tape removal as you can see in the first picture. Also, there used to be a cardboard lid under the red 10x10 plate cover. The cardboard lid is not present in this set.
