Newborn Carry Position:
The Safe And Strong Accessory Strap is used to clinch in the carrier material at the point the baby straddles the sling - see pictures 6 and 7 above. The Accessory Strap narrows the fabric seat and is completely adjustable to ensure a perfect fit for your little one's size. For maximum comfort the buckle is to be worn on the outside of the sling for further adjustment if required after your newborn is secured in the carrier. It is advised that you use this strap until the baby is at least 10 weeks old.
To ensure a newborn baby is at the right height for you to kiss the top of their head - consider rolling the waist strap a few times towards you (to roll up excess material from the body of the sling) before securing the waist strap at chest level.
Back Carry Position:
The Accessory Strap is used to create a chest strap from shoulder strap to shoulder strap for added support and to ensure the shoulder straps do not slip off when walking - see picture 8.
The
Accessory Strap is also brilliant for neatly securing the folded soft sling
when not in use - see picture 2.
