Antique Wood Sock Egg Darrner

(This is part of a large collection of darners that were recently purchased from a collector. According to the owner, most of these date from the 1920's - 50's. Please visit our store, Dragonworkz, to see other darners. We happily combine shipping)

Carved Wood (appears to be American Walnut, but unsure). Lovely Grain to the wood with burl accents. The date "November 27, 1931" has been hand carved into the handle. A true piece of Depression Era history!

Excellent Antique Condition with wear commensurate to its age. The two holes in the darner are the center of the burls and not flaws. Please refer to photos
