The official Gibson 57 Classic Plus Humbucker Pickup uses slightly overwound coils exactly like the original Patent Applied For humbuckers from the late 1950s that accidentally received a few additional turns of wire, the balanced coiled of the 57 Classic Plus gives them a warm, creamy tone with an increased output. Featuring the same enamel like coated wiring, alnico two magnets and maple spacers as the original models to achieve a smooth output that sounds rich and full whether they're being played clean or overdriven, their pickups are so authentic to the original that they carry the original Patent Applied For decal on the baseplate. With braided two conductor wiring and are fully wax potted to eliminate any change of microphonic feedback, these pickups are perfect for the bridge position companion to the '57 Classic, delivering just a little more of "the sweet stuff" without sacrificing any of the rich vintage tone.
