The flowers have a unique blend of ruffled semi double blooms in shimmering shades of 

slate, silver, mauve, blue & often a pearly white edge.

This easy to grow cottage garden favourite flowers profusely and when you cut the blooms they will continue

to produce until mid to late Autumn.

Sow direct in succession from Spring to early Summer or alternatively, sow in August or September 

for slightly earlier flowers next year.

Poppies dislike root disturbance so it is best to sow where you want them or sow in Jiffy pellets or

Seeds are very tiny so do not cover them as they need light to germinate. 

Take care when watering to prevent the seeds being washed away.

Poppies prefer moist but well drained soil.

Protect from slugs & snails as they love Poppies.

Pick in the cool of the early morning or evening when the buds are just starting to break open.

Poppies last just a couple of days in a vase but are very productive plants so harvest frequently 

to keep the blooms coming.
