Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Art Nouveau silver plated dressing table tray, being of figural design with strong repoussé detail, c-1900. The tray is in fair condition, with the silver plate all but worn from the face back to the copper base metal (per photos). The tray is free from monogram or crest and is without hallmark. A very attractive and useful tray for the collection.
The tray measures 23cm x 11cm and weighs in at 133gms unpacked.

Sterling silver offered at William Sharpe Antiques is original and authentic, showing signs of use over its life. Unless expressly stated above, all pieces are free from major structural damage. However, normal signs of use including shallow depressions, fine scratches, and minor pattern and hallmark wear should be expected. All pieces (unless expressly stated above) have undertaken a very light polish with respect to the original patina, and a decision for further polishing will be left to the new custodian.
