Photograph Notes: This is the parish kirk of Kilmodan, and it is situated in the clachan of Glendaruel. It is a category B listed building, dating from 1783, on the site of at least one earlier kirk. It is T-plan, with the pulpit in the middle of the top of the T and the congregation to right, left and in front of the pulpit. It has galleries in all three ends. The central pavilion, with oculi and a 'bird-cage' belfry, is quite unusual.
