VTG Pressed Glass Biscuit Jar with Handle and EPNS Silver Plated Lid is 6 1/2 inches tall including the lid. The jar alone is almost 5 1/2 inches tall and has a base diameter of 4 1/2 inches. The base tapers outward then narrows to the top with a 3 3/4 inch diameter opening. Quilted Diamond pattern at the top with and X mark in the center of each Diamond. The bottom sides are ribbed and a starburst pattern is on the base. There are 4 stamped symbols and names on the underside of the lid and the number 525C. Please see pics. The jar is in very good condition. Just needs a good recipe of short bread!
